Carolina del Sur es uno de los Estados americanos donde la educación diferenciada está totalmente normalizada. Tanto es así, que el propio Departamento de Educación cuenta con una secretaría exclusiva para las escuelas que ofrecen este modelo educativo, a través de la que informan y atienden a las familias interesadas.
